Pork goulash

Ingredients

  1. Pork 650 g
  2. Onions 200 g
  3. Carrot 100 g
  4. Tomatoes 300 g
  5. Sweet pepper 80 g
  6. Green peas 80 g
  7. Tomato paste 1.5 tbsp
  8. Flour 1.5 tbsp
  9. Salt 2 tsp
  10. Ground black pepper 1 tsp
  11. Red chilli 1/2 tsp
  12. Bay leaf 2 pcs.
  13. 2 cloves of garlic
  14. Sugar 1 tsp
  15. Ground coriander 1/2 tsp
  16. Water 600 ml
  17. Vegetable oil 2 tbsp

Step 1.

Cut carrots, peppers and tomatoes into medium slices, onion in half rings.

Step 2

Cut the meat into pieces measuring 2.5 by 2.5 cm.

Step 3

Heat the stewpan with 2 tbsp. vegetable oil and fry the meat until golden brown over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

Step 4

Add onion, garlic and fry over medium heat for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5

Add carrots and fry for 2 minutes over medium heat.

Step 6

Add tomatoes and peppers, mix and fry over medium heat for 2 minutes.

Step 7

Add flour and mix well.

Step 8

Add tomato paste, salt, black pepper and mix.

Step 9.

Add 600 ml. water, bring to a boil and reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 40 minutes.

Step 10

Add green peas, sugar, coriander, red chili peppers and bay leaves to the goulash, cover and simmer over low heat for another 15 minutes. Serve goulash with potatoes, vegetables and pickles.
