Braised cabbage

Ingredients

  1. White cabbage 1200 g
  2. Onions 450 g
  3. Carrot 350 g
  4. Tomato paste 3 tbsp
  5. Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
  6. Salt 1 tbsp
  7. Sugar 1.5 tbsp

Cooking:


Step 1.

Chop cabbage, chop the onion in half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan or pan, put onions, fry over medium heat until half cooked for about 3 minutes.

Step 3

Add carrots and fry for another 3 minutes.

Step 4

Add half shredded cabbage and mix, add salt and fry for 3 minutes over medium heat, stirring until cabbage is softer.

Step 5

Add the second half of the cabbage and mix, cover and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.

Step 6

In the center of the stewpan, spread the cabbage and put the tomato paste, fry the pasta for 1 minute and mix with the cabbage.

Step 7

Add sugar and mix, continue to fry over low heat until cabbage is ready, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 8

When serving, sprinkle cabbage with black pepper and dill
