  1. Lightly salted herring 1 pc.
  2. Onion 1 pc.
  3. Mustard with grains 1 tsp.
  4. Dill, parsley, 5-6 branches
  5. 1 carrot
  6. Sugar 3 tbsp. l
  7. Water 8 tbsp. l
  8. Vinegar 8 tbsp. l
  9. Bay leaf 2 pcs.
  10. Clove 2-3 pcs.
  11. Coriander 1 tsp
  12. Black pepper 5 pcs.

Remove head, entrails and skin on herring.
Remove bones. Cut into pieces.
Cut the carrots into circles.
Onion cut into half rings.
Cut greens as well.
Fold everything in layers into a jar.
Boil the marinade from the remaining ingredients. Cool.
Pour the marinade over herring. Leave at room temperature for 2 hours. Then leave for another 12 hours in the refrigerator.
